Senior Network Engineer

Experience Required: 4–7 years (preferred)
Certification: CCNA (mandatory), CCNP/other advanced certifications (advantageous)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Layer 3 (L3) routing & switching, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 3 (L3) routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls, including VPNs, security policies, and firewall rules.
Work on Cisco ACI fabric, including tenant creation, policies, contracts, and troubleshooting fabric connectivity.
Ensure network security, availability, and compliance with organisational policies.
Monitor and analyse network performance, implementing enhancements and optimisations.
Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for network-related issues.
Assist in network migrations, upgrades, and new deployments in alignment with business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Server, Storage, Security, and Cloud) for integrated solutions.
Maintain proper documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with L3 networking (routing & switching).
Strong knowledge and experience in Cisco ASA firewall configuration and management.
Hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI (fabric design, implementation, and operations).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, NAT, QoS, and network security protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues in a multi-vendor environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
CCNA certification (mandatory).
CCNP/CCIE or other advanced certifications (preferred).
